How to: Hide slide show pen or pointer.
Solution:
Use the 'Show Popup' menu to select 'Pointer Options'.
1) Click right mouse button. (The Show Shortcut menu appears.)

2) Select 'Pointer Options'. (A submenu appears.)
3) Do one of the following:
a) Select 'Hide Now', to hide the pen or pointer for the current slide only.
b) Select 'Hide Always', to hide the pen or pointer for all slides in the show.
